I have a problem with my tv box. When my box goes into standby I am unable to wake it back up. I have to remove the power cable and reconnect for it to wake. I have adjusted the settings so the box won’t go into standby for 12 hours but this still isn’t ideal. I have contacted and have an engineers visit booked.

Which box is it eg T1000 ,T2100,T2200,T4000 ?

Done that. Changed it to 12 hours from 3 and changed it to always ready.

In it's default mode it goes into power saver mode which powers it down almost completely. You can set it just to Snooze (can't remember the actual wording)

Yes i have changed the settings. It goes into standby after 12 hours now and the standby mode is “always ready”, however i still have the same problems when it does go into standby. It doesn’t turn back on unless I remove the cable and reset it.

Sounds like it's got a bit of a hardware fault. You could try and full factory reset and see if that helps??

Yes, done the factory reset. Still having the same problem. Box has switched off, won’t wake with the button on the remote like it should. Will boy come back on when power cable removed and plugged back in. It doesn’t work when switched off/on with the switch. Only works when cable removes

If you're under contract then request a new box otherwise maybe get one off of ebay or similar.
