BT4600 phone. Scrolling numbers

Good afternoon

On a recommendation I bought a set of BT4600 phones.

Unfortunately, they seems to have a major problem - for me, in that the display 'scrolls' numbers that you have stored in the phone book or have recently called.

I find this difficult to deal with. Because the number moves before you have seen what it is.

Is there any way to stop the number scrolling? If not is there a better phone that does call blocking but which does not scroll?

Hi again everyone

I have looked through the manual and can't see a solution - though it may just be me not looking properly.

That being said. Does anyone have any suggestions for a good call blocking phone. We need one that rings loudly and has good quality voice , and call blocks. And which does NOT have scrolling numbers. We want to be able to read the number on the display.
