BT7610 Nuisance Call Blocking

Go to solution

Hi,

I am new to this forum and wondered if anyone can help me please. I have a BT7610 Nuisance Call Blocker digital cordless phone (3 handsets) with answer machine. I am getting lots of nuisance calls and when I get one from a new number I add the number to the blocked list. Recently I have been getting these calls from 07 numbers that don't actually exist (as I discover when I ring them from my mobile phone). When the number rings again two of my handsets stay silent (as I would like) but one of them rings. Is there any way I can stop all the handsets ringing when a blocked number calls me ?

Thanks

Hi Deano999, weird one, all handsets should indeed be silent if the number is blocked.

Have you tried powering everything off and back on again just in case something's gone out of sync somehow. Switch off base station at the main power adapter, and switch off each handsets by long pressing the Red button. Then switch base station back on, then each handsets one by one.

If that doesn't work then contact helpdesk on 0800 218 2182.

Hi BrunoN, thanks very much for your advice. I have done as you suggested and will review the situation when we get the next blocked call.
