BT8600 and Caller Display

Hi all. I've been using this phone for ages now and it works really well at filtering out nuisance calls. First question.

I pay £1.75 a month for caller display. If I stop paying this I assume the phone will not block anymore - correct? Also, and I don't remember where now, I recall reading that caller display is going to be free now, or did I dream it?

If I move to another provider, say John Lewis, will the phone stop blocking and filtering. This feature is important to me and I don't want to lose it.

You do need caller display I am afraid. Normally, you get caller display free if you renew your phone contract with BT.

If you are out of contract and looking to get a deal or trying to get caller display for free call the options team and see if they can give you a new deal... They are UK based  0800800030

Caller Display will be free from 1st of October and yes you do need a caller display service from your provider for the phone .
