BT8600 cordless obscure problem

Elderly friends have a 3-handset system plus a regular wired landline phone. Occasionally when answering a call with one of the 8600 handsets, pressing the green answer button, the phone(s) do not stop ringing. The wired phone always works as normal and using this will stop all phones ringing. Have done a 'Base settings reset' which cures the problem once, but then the problem returns. Unplugged the base unit from master socket, this cured the problem, again for only one call, problem returned. ????

@kmcb sorry about that, it sounds like the 8600 sytem is faulty.  I'd recommend that you get in touch with the product helpdesk and they'll be able to advise you further.Product helpdesk information
