BT8600 cordless phone range extender

Can I extend the range of my BT8600 cordless phone.  It does not receive/make calls in the garden.

Have you considered moving the base station nearer?

Thanks but not the solution. The landline enters the house at the front where the base station is located and the problem is getting a signal to the garden at the back.  The landline used to enter the house at the back (there was no problem with garden coverage) but everything was rearranged by BT to increase broadband speed.

Thanks. I have already looked but it's not compatible with BT8600. D

You would have to check, I would look to move the base to back of the house , DECT should have a range of 30M to 50M. The extenders are old so the BT8600 would not have been tested , its not something you see peeps doing. but if you get from BT Shop you could always return with in 14 days.
