January price changes
A popular discussion this month has been about the recent price changes. In particular, there’s been confusion about whether the bespoke offers some customers received were guaranteed for the duration of the contract.
We posted a clarification here:
If you select a Broadband bespoke offer that includes an upgrade of some kind (e.g. copper to fibre, free Smart Hub, etc.), this price will be guaranteed not to change for the next 18 months.
If you select a Broadband bespoke offer that’s on the same product and price as you pay today, this means you’ll continue to pay the same amount from 7 January 2018. However this price is not guaranteed and could change in the next 18 months after 7 January 2018.
New Community Leaders
We are delighted to announce that we have three new members join our Community Leader programme.
Thank you @Liam_, @pippincp and @licquorice for joining!
If you would like to join the programme in the future, we have a few tips for you based on what the forum team look out for:
We want the BT Care Community to be a friendly and constructive environment for forum members to help other BT customers, and the CLP allows us to recognise those who embody the spirit of the community.
Anyone who acts as a positive role model on the community could be asked to join the programme (one caveat being that BT employees are not eligible).
There is no minimum time requirement for participation, although of course a member would need to be active over time to develop a record of positive participation.
Please join us in welcoming our latest CLs! And a heartfelt thank you to all of our current CLs, your help and advice is invaluable!
