BTHomeHub 3 Orange BB light every morning

For the last week I have been having issues with my BB, the orange light is on every morning and I have to reboot the hub to get a connection again.  The previous owners left a homehub3 in the house so I have been able to swap my hub with another homehub3.   Both routers have the same issue. I've taken them both back to factory defaults and the problem still exists.  Everyday a fresh reboot.

When connected I get approx 5.5mbps down, and 448kbps up.

My stats, 2 hours after a reboot this morning  -->

ADSL Line Status

Connection Information

Line state: Connected
Connection time: 0 days, 01:54:24
Downstream: 5.656 Mbps
Upstream: 448 Kbps

ADSL Settings

VPI/VCI: 0/38
Type: PPPoA
Modulation: G.992.1 Annex A
Latency type: Fast
Noise margin (Down/Up): 6.0 dB / 26.0 dB
Line attenuation (Down/Up): 40.2 dB / 25.0 dB
Output power (Down/Up): 19.7 dBm / 12.1 dBm
FEC Events (Down/Up): 0 / 0
CRC Events (Down/Up): 375 / 0
Loss of Framing (Local/Remote): 0 / 0
Loss of Signal (Local/Remote): 0 / 0
Loss of Power (Local/Remote): 0 / 0
HEC Events (Down/Up): 678 / 0
Error Seconds (Local/Remote): 197 / 3

Are the HEC and Errors normal?

My master socket looks pretty old, brown in colour and looks to be about 20yrs+, I use the external ADSL filter, again I have 2 filters and have swapped them but it's makes no difference. Replaced the RJ11 lead from the filter to the router. Still the same, everyday I have to reboot.

Any other suggestions?

Re: BTHomeHub 3 Orange BB light every morning

It's the middle broadband light, i've got wired and wireless connections. Wireless holds up as I can login to the homehub over it.

if it's wirelless have you got the power saver activated as that stops wireless during the preset hours

I can also confirm that the power saving feature isn't used, its disabled on both routers.
