BTHomeHub3 ghost signal

Hey guys so basically I was getting poor signal in my new house from our old home hub 3 and I wasn't going to pay for an ISP router so decided to purchase an AirPort Extreme. The new router plugged directly into the openreach modem as the HH3 did and the internet seems to be working fine. However, there is still a signal from our old HH3 coming from somewhere which is strange considering its sat on the desk with absolutely no wires even connected! Do I have to connect it all back up and disable something in the settings to get rid of this? I have tried rebooting the router, resetting the modem - no luck so far. Thanks!

Re: BTHomeHub3 ghost signal

If its powered off, then you are probably seeing a signal from another nearby home hub 3.

Remember also to delete the old HH3 connection from your devices, so they wont waste time trying to find it.
