BT told us (under"Why has the BTYahoo login page disappeared?") that
"..... as part of the closure to the BT Yahoo! portal (which was used to access BT Yahoo! Mail), we’ve also removed the BT Yahoo! login page."
But it is still there, saved in and working from my bookmarks
Have I missed something, or is this another BT balls-up?
It's still there because anybody that has not been migrated onto the new BT Mail, which I imagine will still be a few million, still need to log onto their webmail via that page.
Thanks. So it's another BT balls-up then
You can't get much clearer than this:
We wanted to bring together all our BT services into one place – BT.com. Therefore as part of the closure to the BT Yahoo! portal (which was used to access BT Yahoo! Mail), we’ve also removed the BT Yahoo! login page.
Instead, all BT Yahoo! Mail users will now log in – with their existing email address and password – via the BT.com website and a secure BT email log in page. Just click on the "Email" link on the main navigation bar (on the far right) to access the email log in page. (my bold)
How not to encourage trust and confidence. Anyone alse feeling nervous and apprehensive about the switch to Critical Path?
You seem to have missed some other sections, such as:-
When will the new BT Mail service go live?
For new BT Broadband customers it'll be this summer. Existing BT Yahoo! Mail customers will be moved to BT Mail by the end of the year.
When will BT Yahoo! customers be moved to the new BT Mail service?
Later this year. We'll be in touch well before the move to let you know what to do.
Some of us haven't had that email yet, and haven't been switched over yet.
