@Nelson75 I'm sorry that you've been unable to switch off forwarding to your now defunct email address. Please use the 'click here to contact the mods' link in my forum profile to send in your details and we'll raise a fault on this for you. You can find the link by clicking on my username.
Thanks
Neil
B T email team due to call yesterday between 16.00 & 18.00.
Three rings on the phone at17.00 and then the call dropped out! It is not possible to ring back and so I called Customer Services to get the call reinstated for later in the day or today after14.00.

Hi @Nelson75 Thanks for sending over your details. I've checked and can see that the Yahoo team currently have a complaint open about this issue for you and are due to contact you this afternoon. Your case is with the correct team so I have left it with them but as it has taken longer than I would expect I have also chased them for an update on when this will be fixed and will update you when I know more.
Cheers
John
The email team did call yesterday but having made it clear I would not be in until 14.00 they called at 10.50 whilst I was out!
Many thanks for pursuing this for me

I do hope the Yahoo team are doing more than they usually do of investigating just one person.
It would seem more than likely this affects a lot of users - who don't actually realise forwarding has supposedly stopped. They will only find out like the OP when the forwarded address is ceased.
In other words, a thorough proper investigation into the whole forwarding "feature".

They won’t be doing any investigstion as they don’t care. I went as far as the ombudsman about the forwarding issue. But said it was nothing to do with them and everything to do with Yahoo. The ombudsman said Bt were within their rights to cease providing a service as they saw fit. End of story basically.
The issue isn't with forwarding itself, it's the apparent fault of it being removed as a feature yet still active for some people who are unable to administer it.
I have just taken a call from the email team.
Quote "the issue is due to a bug and we have taken this up with the supplier and are seeking to get this fixed "
A regular update has been promised even if there is nothing to report and next call is scheduled for Saturday between 10- 12.
One really does wonder what if anything has been going on since I first raised this on 5 November
