Bad ping but good download

I have a problem where a lot of the time it’s very hard to play games or make video calls without it lagging or ending the call/buffering every couple of seconds, I get an average download of 50-60 mbs and 18 mbs upload. but in games I get ping from 120-150ms , also when I’m playing games, streaming or calling I’m only the room above and I thought not being able to get a good connection wasn’t usual?

Can you post some pingplotters so we can see the ping issues?

If you're using WiFi any number of things can cause a WiFi Signal to suddenly do belly up. You could try using a different wireless channel incase there's some congesion on the one the Hub chose.

Have a look here in order to change WirlessChannel / use the Smart Feature to select the best channel. (Not sure if you can change the channel yourself anymore as I don't use the supplied hubs.
