Base Sports package upgrade

If I upgrade from Base Sports to which I pay another £5 for HD, to Big Sport adverised as £40, do  I have to pay another £5 on to& puts one off upgrading/p of this? Very misleading price structure

HD isn't included in the Big Sport package. See the FAQ at the bottom of the page:

How can I watch channels in my package in HD?

There are two ways to watch your favourite channels in HD on BT TV:

1.     Add our HD add-on to watch any HD channel that is a part of your package in stunning picture quality. You can choose to switch HD on and off on a month by month basis.
2.     By choosing the VIP package. VIP includes full HD channels from NOW TV including Sky Sports HD and Sky Atlantic HD, plus HD channels from BT such as BT Sport HD and access to our designated 4K UHD channel, BT Sport Ultimate.

Thanks DarrenDev. I think the £40 quoted will be +£5 knowing how BT display their prices. I've been comparing with people I know but can't compare because everyone gets a different quote.

That's correct - with big sport, you need to add the £5 for HD.
