Re: Battery replacements big problems

Go to solution

Many handsets use readily available AAA rechargeable batteries, which are available quite cheaply online.

Some use special custom battery packs, and they are best avoided.

that's interesting, what make are yours? Mine are 4 years old Synergy 6500 and work fine, but finally the red charger battery light blinks after half an hour chat and it bleeps into the conversation. So it was time to replace batteries seemingly.

A quick online check shows a pair of batteries for the Synergy 6500 costs £3.

I can not say the make of mine (forum rules)  they are P......... well known make.

I also have a set of BT phones but for a much shorter time.  I keep mine on charge 24/7 on the base unit except when in use, perhaps this is incorrect but it works for me !

I think your original batteries did well for 4 years.

You can mention brand names, you just can't link to e-commerce sites.
