Re: Best way to get accurate information about Fibre availability?

Unfortunately yes and openreach will not move your line to a different cabinet just to improve your broadband. That explains the poor speed

Re: Best way to get accurate information about Fibre availability?

yeah but why would my friend who is literally next door to Cab 7 be served from elsewhere, i dont even know where cab 5 is located...

The poor speed isnt caused by this ive had 1.9 or better for years, just last few weeks ive had a problem

Re: Best way to get accurate information about Fibre availability?

There is poor speed and there is 0.12mbps, that is ridiculous, nowhere close to what I pay for

Re: Best way to get accurate information about Fibre availability?

Your adsl connection problem is due to noise on your line causing an unstable connection resulting in high noise margin and low speed. I have asked mods to see if they can help

your fibre estimate has nothing to do with your poor adsl connection just the distance you are from cab5. Openreach will not move you to cab 7 just because it is closer to you and would improve your fibre connection speed
