Have just been going through my mother’s monthly statements which I will now manage online, and seen an increase of £17 starting in October for Max HD (discounted from £25).

What is this please?

She has not received a new box receiver, there is no change to the current options on the TV Guide menu...so what is it?

Max HD is a BTTV package, which offers a host of premium channels such as History, Discovery, UK Gold and more, It also came with BT Sport free of charge.
Are you saying it wasn't on the account before October ? did she have any BTTV before then ?

Will go further back and look through etc. Yes, she has had BTTV for a number of years but doesn’t need Premium Channels.

She might of tried to watch a channel she wasn't subscribed to, the Youview box will allow an upgrade without the need to contact BT, it's pin protected to stop kids upgrading, if she agreed to the on screen terms it will then place the upgrade order.

That was why I asked if she had BTTV before then, It also explains why no new equipment was sent, It wasn't required.
