Blaxton 3-month Outage

Go to solution

Is it possible to check to see what is the problem with BT's Comms in the Blaxton/Finningley area near Doncaster.  A friend of mine has had the last 3-months with no comms and quite frankly it is really shocking that the "great" BT is still messing around with no advice to the customers and still taking all the money for a system that does not work.

Many thanks

Re: Blaxton 3-month Outage

Many thanks for your replies.  My friend has been back onto BT and they said "It's a local problem & should be ok within 24-48hrs".  So we should see if this is solved in a few days.  Me thinks that this is also the answer they had before and nothing gets done to solve the problem, maybe its vandals stealing cable, opto fibres, whatever it is, it is a very poor state of affairs not keeping the punter up to date.  We shall see later...!

Well, the Engineer didn't turn up at the house but the link is now re-instated and working.  So I assume he must have done something within the village.  Not bad for a 3-month outage!
