Take it away and lock it in a cupboard.

You can go into the Homehub Admin settings and then go to Advance settings > Access control > Select the device you want to block and set the times.

You should be aware that it is very easy to overcome this and no doubt your son will know how to do that or will find out very quickly how to.

Even if you block it from the Internet he can still play with it offline. Perhaps the best way would be to take it off him and lock it in a cupboard or the boot of your car until he learns how to play with it in moderation.

That is not a helpful reply as the poster wants to know how to restrict usage so his son does other things as well I agree with the other poster take it away from him until he learns to limit his use of the device

You ever thought him being home playing is better than him being on the street getting into trouble?

Taking it away is not going to help him. Limiting his actions will. Set limits but don't take it away completely. Taking it away completely will harm your relationship with him and it will be more on his mind than ever. Odds are, he has friends that he plays with through the PS4 and taking it away will put a damper on his friendships too.

limiting would be far more helpful as it would not put a barrier between the mother/father and son. Taking away wont do any good because it will be more on his mind than ever.

You are posting on a four year old thread so hopefully a solution was found before now.
