Not related to your issue with the the Smart Hub but are you using the Asus as a modem?


If so, you may want to swap it for a different make - Asus modems (as opposed to the router side) are considered some of the worst performing modems and have not been approved for use on the UK FTTC network.


Their modems also cause problems with other customers lines and are generally also believed to the brand which caused Openrreach to issue this warning
