Broadband Activation - Date passed

Hi,

 

I have just moved into a house with my wife and I ordered BT broadband package 2 on the 4th of June. The activation date and delivery date was set for the 21st of June. The equipment arrived fine, but I don't have any broadband. I did receive a text message from BT saying that there maybe a delay in broadband and phoneline activation

 

I spoke to a multiple people in India that kept saying that it is active.

They kept telling me to reset the hub and unplug it etc etc. I kept asking about the activation date and the delay text message, but they didn't listen. One of them did a line test and found a fault on the line which an engineer came out to fix on the 23rd and he said that he has tried to push the broadband order through again but as it was the weekend it might not happen till today (Monday) But still no broadband.

 

I have tested it with an old BT Hub2 which makes no difference. Still no broadband light at all on the router.

 

 I just want to know when it will be activated as no one is telling me anything and just making me reset it all the time.

 

Hope I can get some help on here.

broadband activation can take up to midnight on the day of activation  please post back after then if no service and we can assist you further then

The day of activation was the 21st that was 4 days ago.

if there was a line fault activation would not have happened until the fault had been resolved

infact the order would not go through until the fault was cleared

Thanks for your reply.

I got a message on saturday just after the engineer had finished saying that the fault has been cleared.

How long after this would it usually take for activation?

If i go into My BT on the BT website it says Broadband is Activated it has done since thrusday which was the day it should have happened.
