Hello, I'm new to BT. Please help! I'm going insane trying ot get this sorted. I was promised downlaod speeds with BT minimum 32, I'm get max 22, but this drops if anything is being uploaded or download to between 2-14. If I am uploading a picture, then no-one else in the houe can use the internet! I have had an engineer out who said there was nothing wrong with the line, that it was the hub. I have a new hub, same problem.
Welcome to this user forum.
Is it a home hub 6 you have, and is your computer connected using an Ethernet cable, or wireless?
Please post your full Router Stats. For a Home Hub see on here: Broadband Top Tips . Full router stats are key to any speed & connection issues.
What does BT Broadband Availability Checker estimate for your phone number? Post just the whole table and the line above it, blanking out your phone number. If it doesn't recognise your phone number, use the Address Checker, not the Postcode Checker.
I have a home hub 6. I am currently connected with ethernet, but speed doesnt improve with it plug in or on wireless.

Sorry, not really sure what I'm doing but copied my hub thing! I have a new socket, put in on tuesday, two conections next to each other.
Can you please run a BT Wholesale Speed test, including the diagnostics page?
It could be that your upload speed is too low, there have been other recent post about this.
I don't have adobe flash player. Is there another site I can do this on?
Try a wired speedtest here http://www.thinkbroadband.com/speedtest.html and copy to here just the "Link to this result:" link.
