Broadband Talk

I am a new customer to BTBroadband. I have a Home Hub 2 with a Hub phone. I would like to use my landline phone to call my hub phone but when I do I get diverted to voice mail. I can use the hub phone to call the landline phone without a problem. I can also call the hub phone from my mobile phone.

Any ideas?

Re: Broadband Talk

Possibly. The area I pointed you to allows you to set up the voicemail and various other services. It sounds like you have voicemail active and you could turn it off there if appropriate. It takes 2-3 minutes for the changes to take effect.

Re: Broadband Talk

OK.

The problem is that all phones can call the Hub Phone EXCEPT the house phone which goes straight to voicemail (just as if the hub phone is engaged).

Re: Broadband Talk

When you call the hub phone from the landline, are you using a physically separate phone plugged into a socket elsewhere in the house or are you using a phone connected to the socket on the HH?

Re: Broadband Talk

I am using the house phone which is plugged into the telephone wall socket not the into the hub.
