Broadband constantly disconnecting

For about 3 or 4 days now my broadband has been constantly disconnecting. It will just randomly disconnect for about a minute or so and then start again, although this isn't a long time it's really inconvenient and I'd like to see if I could find out why it's started doing it now when i've never suffered from these problems before.

The issue started on the day where there were heavy winds in my area so i'm not sure if that could have affected something, I'm not sure really what could of made it happen suddenly.

IF you could login into the bt home hub control panel at http://192.168.1.254/login.lp and click on

Advanced Settings and then click Continue to Advanced Settings click on Broadband and then click on adsl and copy all of the  ADSL line status and post it in your reply.

By the way do you know the admin password by default it should be on the back of your home hub and is you hub version 1.0 1.5 or 2.0?

Re: Broadband constantly disconnecting

ok could you please try the bt quiet line check using a corded phone connected to the master socket dial 17070 option 2 there should be no noise if there is report the fault on 151 as a noisy line but do not mention broadband if there is any problem with this test then once it is fixed your broadband will stabilize its connection soon after
