I have been with BT forever and their bills are a complete mystery to me but I just hope for the best. Last April my contract was ending, and, noticing that there was a free google home offer on I rang customer services and was persuaded to carry on with an 18 month contract. The guy suggested that after about 17 months to I should try to get another good deal. I just received an email saying that my broadband discount was ending and that I had to renew and showed me more expensive prices. If I have an 18 month contract why is this? My bill says something is changing also with a split in mid month. What is going on?

try phoning the options team 0800800030 and get clarification and you can also negotiate a new contract if indeed your existing discount is ending
BT were just being naughty by trying it on several months early! Anyway it wasn’t a wasted call as I extended my contract for another 24 months at the same price. Thank you for your time.
