Have tried contacting BT to report the issue of Broadband dropping out when it rains this is very frustrating as you can imagine,
on contacting BT I am told they cannot register a fault for an engineer as there is no fault at present (NO ITS NOT RAINING), the solution is I am to send a text when it happens again so that they can check the line , how this works defeats me has anyone else had similar problems and if so how did you resolve it?

Is there any noise on your phone calls? Dial 17070 and select option 2, there should be no noise between the announcements. If there is ANY noise report a telephone fault and NOT a broadband fault. Once the telephone fault has been fixed your broadband fault will automatically improve.
