Broadband email

I would like an answer to this:

Broadband email keeps placing messages from my address book contacts in the trash folder.  Why is this and what's the fix?

Hi. Welcome to the forums.

Are you using a mail client program such as Outlook, Thunderbird or Windows Mail ?, smartphone etc ? Is it every email from only your contacts, or are other general emails ending up there ?

so, and have not set "leave messages on server", then any received emails in the mail client will always move the online Inbox emails into the Trash folder. That is a recently added feature.

If however you are only looking at webmail (i.e. via a browser) and all the emails are ending up in the Trash folder - then a few others have reported this similar problem. I'd initially suggest altering the email password, just in case it's been compromised and being accessed by "someone else" using a mail client. Then see what happens.
