Broadband in a Caravan

Hi. Just brought a caravan and wondered if there was any way to use my BT broadband when I was away. Obviously the van has no landline but is there a mobile dohicky that would allow me to use my    account when away.

Thanks

Neil

Re: Broadband in a Caravan

You can buy portable mobile hotspots but to my knowledge you can't link it to your BT account and use your home data

Re: Broadband in a Caravan

Provided you haven’t opted out of FON , (in other words your main home still allows others to connect to itd BT WIFI , while you use it’s usual SSID ) then you can log into any other BT WiFi hot spot, so if one is accessible from the caravan then you just log into that using your usual log on credentials, you can load a map for the area which shows all the hotspots in the area , if there isn’t one within range you may have to consider mobile 3/4/5 G,

Re: Broadband in a Caravan

If you have the BTwifi app installed if there is a local hot-spot you can log into that. A couple of sites I have been to I logged into the bt WiFi of the site I was on rather than pay for WiFi through the site.
