Totally incorrect if the hub is faulty you will NOT be charged for a replacement

Its worth checking the assembly of the plug front onto the power supply base. This is supposed to click into place, but if it has not fully located, it may be causing an intermittent connection.

 

They do need a lot of force, to click into place.

they will not send out a new hub unless it is first proved as faulty

have you tried a factory reset of the hub by using a pin in the restart hole at the back of the hub holding the pin in for at least 20 seconds
