updated stats here,i'm still have really low speed and crackling online.
It's not just the latest problem thats making me wanna change provider,it's the drop out, custumer service and general average speeds, when you lucky enough to get a decent speed.
but all these are symptoms of noise on your line which you need fixed first
yes this is the latest problem, what about when line is working fine and I get arbitarty drop out.I've already had a engineer out who fitted new filters etc,now it's happening again.now i' have to take time off work again to fit there times.put it this way i'm not experiencing what there advertising on there **bleep** adverts.
the openreach engineers will be the same regardless of which ISP you use - unless cable. there will still have the same work times so you will still have to fit in when they are avialable
Hello Mr Daz
I am having the same problem as you speed seems to drop out very quickly , have been on to bt and they had an engineer come and said it was outside the property , was even told by a bt member of staff to take the pc back to factory settings as they said it was the browser but this only added to the problem with updates on vista and 000.5 to upload the updates , they aslo said they would monitor the issue and get back in touch to find today that they say the problem had been resolved , i am seriously on the verge of changing isp as this has gone on since the 16/7/12 when we had option 3 installed , like you i just wish they would do something as this pc is used for important work and relying on my nieghbour to pick up e-mails for me as the system has been so unstable it all seems to be wrong ,just hope bt read our messages as enough is enough .
Hope you get your issues sorted but dont hold your breath
