I am new to BT. I contracted BT Infinity 1 on 4th June 2014 (Max allowance 40 GB)
During the first month I received notice last week of June my Broadband ussage was higher than 40 GB, although I had only been using Netflix for 10 days. I thought Netflix was the reason and I decided to stop watching Netflix for the rest of the month to control the consumption.
It seemed to work as I did not connect neither Netflix nor my laptop.l
However during 1st and 2nd July, I open my laptop again, connected to internet and only sent an e-mail with my pc, and the BT usage monitor in MyBT web shows a consumption of 1.35GB for the period 1-2 July, which is phisically impossible.
I have seen other posts with the same problem, but I don't know how to check or what to do as I think it is clear it has nothing to do with my consumption.
