no it just a cat 5 rj11 cable from socket to hub and ethernet cable from hub to pc

ok

 

is it possible to connect to the test socket instead of the filtered faceplate to see if that makes any difference to your connection speed/noise margin.  this is just to check as it should be very similar connection

yes filter then router and phone if you can that would rule out that as a problem  - then repost router stats

slightly higher connection speed and a better noise margin

 

was there anything which helped inthe link I posted previously especially if running a long rj11 cable

not really only thing that my master socket is below a radiator don,t if that is the problem but its always been there.

don't think that will cause a problem.  if you can leave it for a day or so and then repost new stats and see if stable
