Re: Thriving Forums - Security Issue - Mod to check?

These Thriving Forums have changed recently in many ways.

Having popped on here within the last week, I noticed that these Forums no longer appear to be fully tested by the BTNP AV software (McAfee). It now shows the "?McAfee SiteAdvisor" in the grey box instead of the normal tick and green box. You may wish to investigate this.

Re: Thriving Forums - Security Issue - Mod to check?

A BTNP update was allowed by myself 5 mins ago and at this present time BTNP shows that all areas of these thriving forums are now back to green (ticked).

The above post is solved - but was this a routine update. Anyone care to comment?

This is really starting to pee me off!!Smiley Mad

Is this at my end??

Having said that no other site has a problem with this and it's happened that many times this evening I've lost count.

Is there a problem with the server (ie overloaded).

Any advice would be good.

Re: Forum Oddness

Hi DS

Sorry you are having problems with this.  We haven't experienced this fault but I'll drop you a PM asking for some details about your individual setup so we can log with the Tech team.

Thx

Kerry

Re: Forum Oddness

Twice in the last 24 hours I've been typing a reply to a post when for no apparent reason, above the Post message window a message in a pink box states "Sorry, unable to complete the action you requested" is displayed.

Why?

It can't be at my end as it's happened on 2 different PC's
