Re: Forum Oddness

I think with your FF add-ons

your cookie bashers ...

your anti-script programmes ....

your anti-virus programme .....

your stateful firewall programme ....

your net privacy programme ....

and all your other security programmes .....

I'm surprised you receive any packets at all  DS .....

I bet you have the pc locked in a room, with an electric fence ....

And a guard posted 24 hours a day ..... with an MK47 assault rifle ....

Meanwhile .... your neighbour is scrumping the apple trees.      238i4ACCB02059A1F913 (jokin matey!   🙂   )

This website is very slow tonight. Smiley Sad

You could try ipconfig /flushdns, some of the Server links seem to be playing up & refreshing the cache may help?

Re: Forum Oddness - ultra go sllooowwww :(

Agreed DS, there is also something very strange happening with BT email at the moment, I'm trying to set up a mobile IMAP a/c after receiving some very good advice, and its just not happening!! Smiley Sad

A lot of forum functionality seems to be down as well.

Thats me for the day.

(Your post wasn't there when I was trying to gain access):smileysurprised:

But AQ, that's not all!Smiley Mad

After waiting 10 mins for this post to open, then 10 mins waiting to log in, ALL of the customer help pages that I've tried (at the top of these poorly forums) are timing out, as are the bt service status pages!!!

poorlybt.PNG

Google cache picks some BT service snippets up fine - I've seen a report that the billing pages (which actually work atm (AND they're the latest format)) will be offline tomorrow for maintenance.

That's me done till .............................Smiley Sad

Re: Forum Oddness - ultra go sllooowwww :(

Further to the reported problems with these forums on 26/11 (time 2150) which did get resolved or fixed by themselves the following morning....

Today - What's going on with these forums!Smiley Mad

I've never had any problems with any other sites, except BT'sSmiley Surprised

The forum pages are either failing to load, take a very long while to load or suprisingly present themselves normally

It's completely random...

Even tried via Ethernet - still the sameSmiley Mad

Really getting annoyed with this now. So much I'm now at 90/10 for the offski
