Bt broadband talk cancel

Go to solution
I'm paying for this and never have used it, how do I go about cancelling the service so I'm not paying out wasted money? Thanks in advance

You're paying for it?

It's free, though BT are phasing it out

If you don't use it after 90 days (iirc), then it should of been deactivated

Argh, I see

Are you using a standard phone plugged in to a phone socket (not the rear of the hub) or the BT hub phone?

If it's a standard phone in a socket, then you need to dial 150 from your BT landline and ask them why you have this package and to also cease it.

Ok.

Though doubtful, you could ask for a refund of the cost of this service if you never actually asked for it.

You could also ask about having your landline changed to unlimited anytime calls if you don't already have this. For £5.40 (ish) per month, you could save a lot of money on this bill too - just a thought.

If you took this, it is a 12 month auto renewable contract.

Re: Bt broadband talk cancel

Agree with the suggestion. Just thought i would correct the pricing. UAP (Unlimited Anyy Plan) is actually £4,90 With 3 months free.

Bt should no longer do 12 month renewable contracts for new products or services. Only existing contracts which were taken at the time are renewable but always able to change the package if it's an upgrade. Example ; Evening and weekend calls to anytime calls 🙂

Sorry i'm bored so just thought i'd be a pain ^^
If this answer has helped please mark it up 🙂
