Re: Bt compensation nightmare

Hi it can take up to 72 hours to get a reply from the mods sometime at weekends a little longer they are only a small specialist team and are UK based all mails received by them are dealt with in turn they also work on a shift system that may mean the person dealing with your problem may be away from work for a day please just wait you will get either an email or phone call from them

The reply would have been sent to the email address you used when you joined the forum in case you have more than one email address in use also worth checking your spam folder in case its gone there

Re: Bt compensation nightmare

Just thought you should know the outcome of this nightmare.

I had to accept a measly £91 from BT as i looked into similar cases and they hold all the aces.

Totaly peed off as this fault has cost me over £250 after the £91 paid in loss of earnings.

I was told i would be fully compensated but guess what? That conversation wasnt recoreded so no proof.

I could have and should have left before the problem reached month 10 but i was loyal and trusted what i had been told.

Note to BT. GET ALL YOUR CALL CENTRES BACK TO THE UK AS THEY WILL LOOSE YOU ALL YOUR BUISNESS IN THE END WITH INCOMPITANCE AND LIES. I WILL BE LEAVING WHEN MY CONTRACT EXPIRES.

Good luck to any one with issues but i wouldnt hold your breath for a quick solution

Matt

Re: Bt compensation nightmare

Hi I really feel for you, we are at the moment trying to get our landline back its been off for 4 weeks now and obviously we will ask for  compensation, but remembering my dad had problems about 15 years ago and it was like knitting fog dealing with them then, he contacted all the folks you mention and in the end ditched BT and won't go back, so nothing has changed, they are just really a rubbish non caring company. when our contract finishes we're gone!

Best of luck and let us all know how it ends.

Papillion
You may get no reply from any of the posters you are asking about how they got on as this post is a year old but to help you resolve your problem I suggest you contact the forum mods they should be able to get your problem sorted for you this is a link to them
http://bt.custhelp.com/app/contact_email/c/4951
they normally reply by email or phone directly to you within 3 working days

They are a UK based BT specialist team who have a good record at getting problems solved
