I just got a Smarthub2 with my new fttp connection. I am very happy with it, but I need to boost Wi-fi in the loft rooms. There is an ethernet connection up there, so I was going to buy a black BT disc on Ebay and use the ethernet as the back haul. Or would it be an option to get another Smarthub2 and use it as an access point instead? (Different IP and dhcp off). Would that give me better Wi-fi than the disc? It would also provide additional Ethernet ports.
Is the discs Wi-fi as powerful as the Smarthub2?
Thanks!
All you need is a wireless access point.

If you need Ethernet ports as well, then just add an Ethernet switch.
TP-Link TL-SG1005D about £12.
