Bt infinity..... Not impressed

Right well we upgraded to infinity a few weeks ago when we had the bad weather,
Our line was down anyway which was eventually repaired...... 3 weeks later.
The new hub is very very disappointing,
Our phones and xbox run on wifi all within approx 6mtetres of it and we struggle to get 2 bars of strength on our devices,
Its just terrible!!
Did a speed test and we get 3.48mb d/l and 0.48mb u/l!!!!!

Phoned bt today and we are only ment to get 2.5mb!!!
Thats terrible by todays standards!!
Our old hub was faster than this!!!

Shall keep this thread updated as i continue to hassle bt till they sort it!!

those are not infinity speeds they are ADSL ONES

they may well be adsl not broadband per se.

Which BT home hub do you have?

What speed do you get if you connect an Ethernet cable from the home hub, you your computer?

Run the BT Speedtester including the further diagnostics page, and show the results here.

Will test with cable tonight,
Its the hub with the one light strip across the lower half?

There are two hubs that look like that the hub 4& hub 5

post back the further diagnostics part of the of the BT speedtest using the link posted earlier
