Bt mobile phone with a text message already on it from Tesco mobile.

Hi, I recently took out a contract with BT Mobile for a new Samsung S6. When I turned the new phone on for the first time on November 4th I discovered an old text message from August 16th from Tesco Mobile saying welcome and they were about to send details on how to transfer my contacts, emails etc. On further investigation it looks like a new sticker has been put over the one that seals the box it came in. Is BT using 2nd hand phones and phobbing them of as new? Or have they bought some of tesco stock? What do I have an old message from Tesco mobile?

@collie1872 Sorry about that, we'll be happy to get this investigated for you if you send in your details using the 'contact the mods' link in my forum profile. You can find the link by clicking on my username.  Please can you include the handset imei number on the form? You can get this by going to settings, click about phone and then click on status.
