@Silkandsphinx sorry about that, do you have a data compression app on your device as this can also cause this error code?
@Silkandsphinx It would be in your list of installed apps on the device but if the help desk have advised it's your email it could be a problem with your BT ID. Are you able to login to www.bt.com/mybt with your login details?

Just to double check the error code, it's an ID004 message that you're seeing, is that right? Are you using Android/iOS?
If it is ID004 then it's not going to be related to your account. Could you try uninstalling/reinstalling the app?
