Bt superfast Fibre 2

Some of you will havee seen my post on "Complete Wifi" thread ... whilst I was "Surfing about" I happened on a "Speed Thread" ... 

About 18 Months ago I signed up fer BtPlus Superfast Fibre 2 .. (Expected Downloads of 67 Mbps) ...  As I had read the other thread I thought ... "Hell its Sunday afternoon its Raining I'll test my Speed ..." .. 

I got 42.67 Mbps ... Woefully short of what I was expecting & PROMISED ... I rang BT ..

I'm Told (& I Quote here)  "My Line will NOT get over 39Mbps NO WAY NOT A SNOWBALLS CHANCE IN HELL" .. I find this "Curious"  (As I said I'm currently getting 42 Mbps anyway !!!) .... The Young Lady I spoke to said .. "Well you should have read the small print"  Well SHOULD I INDEED !!!

Que Steam coming out of my ears  !!! .... I pay the High £40's for a speed I CANNOT POSSIBLY GET & WORST OF ALL they KNEW I COULDNT GET IT WHEN THEY SOLD IT ME 18 MONTHS AGO ... 

I May as well go back down to Superfast Fibre Essential (£20 Quid a month) & in the high 30's Mbps / Low 40's Mbps ..

 This is Out & Out DAYLIGHT ROBBERY!!!.... (In MY World I'm a Brit Gas Eng its like me installing a Boiler thats far too small to Heat the property) ... ... 

I will be taking this further Tomorrow (when "Senior" people are back at their respective Desks ...

Are you sure the 67Mb wasn't the average speed for the country?

Whats the Difference between the "Data Rate" & the "Maximum Data rate" ... .. as I read this I seem to be being "Pegged back" to Low 40's Mbps (Or am I just seeing it Wrong ??? )

You are currently connecting at 49Mb however I notice your DSL uptime is only 15 hours. Is this due to a manual reset?

Could you also post the result of the DSL checker not just the bit you think I want. Also exchange and cab number.

I see you have done it now, thanks, its for your own protection.

My guess is that if you leave the connection alone for a few weeks, DLM will increase the connection speed.
