Bt wifi home disk issues

I am having issues with the bt whole home app, I'm trying to setup the bt disk, but get to a point and I can't go any further, I've followed the on screen prompts to the point where it asks me to connect to the disk wifi, now the on screen prompt seems to show the disk has it's own network to connect to and it's own little card with the info on that slides out from the top, now my disk doesn't have this and the only network I can see is the router one, i try and connect to it but just get can't connect check your ssid, please help. Thanks in advance.

Re: Bt wifi home disk issues

I've looked at the link you sent, but it mentions nothing regarding my issue, as I can't get past the disk setup page on the bt whole home app, as it doesn't recognise my router wifi, should the bt disk ha e it's own wifi name and separate password?

Hi @Szklaruk1, you're saying your disc doesn't have the slide-out card on the back. Are you using black discs (Complete Wi-Fi) by any chance?

If you're using black discs, you need to follow the instructions provided with them and download the MyBT app; not the Whole Home Wi-Fi app.

Hope this helps.
