Bt yahoo email acc not receiving hotmail emails

My wife emailed me a few times several hours ago from her hotmail acc. But they still haven’t come through yet I receive all other emails. Thinking the problem was Microsoft end I then done a test email from her to my gmail acc and it came straight through! Something is up at BT then I guess. I checked the spam folder and there is nothing from my wife in there

Emails not reaching btinternet.com users

I've had "Unable to deliver" messages with email addresses @btinternet.com as from May 17 2018.  Anyone else had problems?

Hi.

What is the exact error message?

Are you sending them as part of a mailing list, if so are btinternet the only ways with the problem?

Re: Emails not reaching btinternet.com users

I am having the same problem with attempts to contact a btinternet customer directly from my email account. I am not using a mass mailing or mailing list. Is there any way to get my messages through to him?

Re: Emails not reaching btinternet.com users

I have had this a couple of times. No other ISP has this problem! AVOID btinternet.com seems to be the only answer.

It was ONE email reply!!! What are they on about?

Re: Emails not reaching btinternet.com users

I've had the same issue when I send to btinternet.com. What are they on about referring to

Too many messages (1.5.6.2) on 2018/05/19 23:01:23 BST from un-validated IP address

All I sent was a reply to one email address!!

Here is the full message from BT!! They need to get their act together. I haven't had any other ISP send such garbage.

Re: Emails not reaching btinternet.com users

As of May19 and May20,  I am having same problem.   My btinternet.com  email address is not receiving emails from Hotmail senders.     The same problem does NOT apply when the Hotmail sender tries to send to mt BTOpenworld email address.

Are people still having issues as of May20 with Hotmail emails not being received at a btinternet.com email address ?

Re: Bt yahoo email acc not receiving hotmail emails

I am having the same problem May18, May19, May20.

When a Hotmail sender emails me at my btinternet.com email , it is NOT being received.  But when he emails me to my @btopenworld.com  email address then the email IS received.

Is anybody still having these problems as of May20 afternoon ?

Re: Bt yahoo email acc not receiving hotmail emails

I am having exactly the same problem.

A friend, who I am in frequent contact with, has a hotmail address and has been emailing me for years from that address.

Since Friday I have been receiving only one in three, or one in four of his emails.

Who do I contact at BT to get this sorted out?

(By the way, this did happen for a short while last year. After a long thread here it was eventually sorted out - something about the postmaster getting "false positives".... )
