Bttv app

Suddenly and without warning the bt tv app cannot link to our tv box

tried online chat and explained that we cannot schedule recordings or view guide through the app and the woman representing bt said we are not meant to be able to schedule recordings etc from the app on our phones!!!

when we try to connect the box from iPhone it says it cannot find any box

There is an issue which is discussed in this thread due to changes introduced by Apple in IOS 14.5

It is unfortunate that the online chat seem both unaware of the issue and their knowledge of the functionality of the BT TV app seems flawed.
