Thanks BT missed the end of the main event due to your garbage Youview box.

No ability to add an overrun buffer, the EPG is not accurate enough or updated realtime.

Tivo offered an overrun buffer 20 years ago.

Rather than focusing on a new interface, how about you focus on the functionalility and usablilty of the box?

This is the broadcasters fault, the Youview box users accurate record. So you will need to complain to the channel that showed that event.

Lets complain to the broadcaster then, this has been going on far too long. BT Sport Channels can't get this right too remember. 

It's time for BT and YouView to agree that this reliance on Accurate Recording has failed and therefore is not fit for purpose. A manual recording facility as offered on Smart TVs is essential going forward for the product. The workflow to merge it into Accurate Recording should be easy to implement. The flow diagram isn't that difficult to imagine and subsequently engineer.
