Call Protect blacklist now full...

Your absolutley right, the boat will be full soon.  I agree just lately more junk calls received, I daily have to manage BT Call Protect.  So it seems it won't be long before this boat sinks.  Come on BT it can't be much of an effort to just increase 100 to 1000.

International call have always been blocked and still being received.  These unwanted calls seem to be able to get pass BT call protect.  Getting fed up with daily having to random delete numbers, that may call again.  Very disappointed

Hi BT are you listening?  Can you increase the limit of numbers we can block? If not, how about making it easier to edit the existing blocked numbers. Its a right royal pain editing one number at a time...

BT are not listening, they have greatly underestimated the amount of unwanted calls people receive.  They do not want to know.

I don't think that not only did they underestimate, as I implied elsewhere, the designers also completely misunderstood the issue. Like the "blocked email" list having a limit (500?) to prevent spam. They don't understand that email spammers and phone spammers are the same, they rarely, if ever, use the same "sending" email address or call "from" the same number.

In either case, the email address and phone numbers are typically spoofed.

I can't see it changing any time soon, not least due to the processing overheads and storage.

Well, until such time, if ever, that BT enhance the blocklist capabilities, I have started deleting the oldest numbers from the list. I kept a note of all the numbers in the full list; it will be interesting to see how long it takes to be called on one of the deleted numbers.

Regarding the list itself, I still think that the ability to block generic patterns would be a step forwards, but I don't expect any kind of progress any time soon either.

Message for BT call protect  Having to daily delete blacklisted personal numbers as we have reached the magic 100.  I now find the numbers I am having to delete calling up again, well that's a surprise.  We go around and around.  BT the answer is???????

If you don't mind me saying, are all these numbers scammers?

Are you on the TPS?

Is your number a newish number, than may have previously been a business number?

I know it's no answer to the issue, but I was intrigued at you getting so many bad calls.
