Caller Display is not working

Hi @burnbrae, welcome to the forum and sorry the Caller Display service is not working. Have you just added the service or was it working ok before?

When you lift the handset and dial *#234# what does the message say?

It has never worked. I have dialed that and it says 'caller identities will be displayed'. shall try and see if it works.

It just says 'External' when there is a phonecall, no number. Even when I press 'calls' to see who phoned, it does not register recent calls. I always have to dial 1571 to find out what number called,

Hi @burnbrae thanks for checking that. What model of phone are you using and have you tried replacing the batteries?

Gigaset C570H

It is very new, so I would not have thought it would be the batteries.

They are rechargeable and seem to be working well.
