After a lightning strike in the vicinity I was left with no caller display. I have purchased new phones (BT7610) in the hope of resolving the problem with no luck. Despite many opened faults, which receive the standard reply that "Your fault is now fixed" etc I still have no caller ID. I have had repeated contact with BT via India who fob me off with "this is a national problem we will call you back next week- two weeks time" etc. I am at my wits end as to how to resolve this problem. This is the worst customer service I have ever experienced and when my contracts are up for renewal I will vote with my feet and shift my line rental, calls packge and broadband vto another supplier.
Yes I have purchased all new filters, have done all the tests required bt BT *#234# etc and tested back to the master socket all without success, thanks for replying.
