If a call lasts 90 mins, is the account charged for 90 mins or just 30?
Solved! Go to Solution.
I suspect it will charged at 90 mins as it will be seen as one 90 min call and not a 60 min free and 30 min chargeable call. That will be why you need to hang up and start again.
@sscs1 Welcome to the forum and thanks for posting.
If you're calling a UK landline the first hour will be included as part of your Anytime calling plan and then you'll get charged the per minute rate for the remaining 30mins.
is it just me or is the term "anytime unlimited calls " factually incorrect when it's limited to 60 minutes
@NeilO interesting that you say that as in the past I've managed to go over the hour & paid for the full call not just the bit over the hour so when did this change?
Hi @garybs29, the calling plans have changed over the years and I could not say exactly when it changed but as @NeilO says it was just for the minutes over the hour in July 2017. Of course, our Calling Plans have changed again and now there is no limit on call duration on the Unlimited Minutes plan.
Cheers
John
Thanks John, just wanted to check on it
if someone is already on the anytime plan is it easy to transfer to the Unlimited Minutes plan? is there a comparison of the two plans? When I read about the anytime unlimited plan it doesn't mention a 60 minute limit in text?
