Can I hide the "read only" posts? that always appear at the top of other threads because it's a pain having to scroll down past them each time to get to the normal threads.
Why not use this link instead, this will give you the latest messages.

Thanks for the link Keith however that shows all posts in all the forums and is a bit jumbled up, I was really looking for a way to hide the read only posts in the selected forums I generally look at.
I use the RSS reader built into Thunderbird. The forum has many RSS feeds, and you can select whatever you want.
No need to visit the main forum page.
Thanks Keith I will look into the RSS feeds.
The forum RSS feeds do not update that often, but its easy to create your own feed, then use the message filters within Thunderbird, to sort out incoming messages into separate folders.
You can create a feed which updates every couple of minutes if you want.
I use that method here. I can setup filters to ignore people or threads, or alert me to messages intended for me.
If you make sure you're signed in whenever you visit the forums, each thread on a board will show the number of new posts since the last time you visited the thread. If you then click on that number you will be taken straight to the first of the unread posts. For example this from the BB Speed/Connection board shows eight new posts since I last looked at the thread; clicking the figure 8 goes to the first of them.
Not quite what you were looking for but it's a help.
Thanks pottyperson that's helpful.
