I have a single aerial socket behind my tv which my BT box is currently plugged into and a double aerial socket at the edge of the room - currently the two sockets (on the same faceplate) are joined together with a cable in order for the signal to reach the tv (and the tv in the other room). I would like to move my BT box next to the double socket (baby proofing so trying to get rid of unnecessary lengths of cable!). Tried hooking it up using the aerial out on the back of the BT box, this works but it causes the tv in the other room to lose signal.... Is there a way to fix this? Thanks for your help!!
If I’ve undestood your set up you need an “Outlet Link” to connect your twin co ax sockets then plug BT Box into the Link outlet. You’ll need to Google details below to find supplier. I have what I think is a similar set up to you and it works fine. Good Luck
Outlet Link Part Number 304137. Manufacturer Triax.
